NABA AZ is a nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Arizona, and we are currently seeking 501 (c)3 status. Our Articles of Incorporation were approved in September 2007. We are grateful to Javier Ramos for his guidance and assistance in this effort.
We will also seek 501(c)6 status after we have completed the 501(c)3 process.
Goals for 2012:
- Host the Fifth Annual NABA-AZ Golf Tournament
- Host the Fourth Annual Seven Generations Dinner Award Engage in a community service projects
- Provide scholarships to Native law students
- Collaborate with the Indian Law Section to add Indian law to the Arizona Admission on Motion materials
- Sponsoring or Cosponsoring a CLE
- Host the Fourth Annual Seven Generations Dinner Award Engage in a community service projects
